
Julia sits on Arq's Board of Directors, helping hold the organisation accountable to its mission. She is Co-founder of the Centre for British Progress, the London-based think tank she launched to advance science, innovation and growth policy.
Julia's own work focuses on AI policy, high-skilled STEM immigration, and the commercialisation of research and innovation, with publications and commentary featured in the New Statesman, The Telegraph and Research Professional News. Previously, she worked on talent and science programmes at Schmidt Futures and founded a startup.
Julia holds degrees from the University of Oxford and the London School of Economics.
