
Bálint oversees Arq's relationships with policy and media stakeholders in the EU and beyond. His work spans AI preparedness, EU economic fundamentals, and innovation policy.
Previously, at the Centre for Future Generations, Bálint led research on AI policy, with work featured in Euractiv, Tagesspiegel, and beyond. Earlier, he served as a Parliamentary Assistant to MEP Maydell during the AI Act trilogues and advised on Estonia's national AI strategy. He has also guest lectured on AI policy at the Universities of Oxford, Copenhagen, and Cambridge.
Bálint holds degrees in Economics and Public Policy from the Universities of Oxford and Leiden.
